Bobrek Engineering & Construction (BEC) is a professional firm founded in 2014 by John Bobrek, P.E. for the purpose of providing unparalleled civil engineering services, construction management and general contracting services in New England. John started his firm after leaving a larger regional civil engineering company to better serve a wide variety of private, commercial, and municipal clients. The firm’s commitment to maintaining a high level of performance in planning, engineering, permitting, and management services is evidenced in the company’s list of repeat clients since our inception.
With a dedicated staff, professional partners, and subcontractors BEC has completed projects of various types and sizes that involve land-use planning & permitting, subdivision design, solid waste management, stormwater & sewer design, regulatory permitting, construction quality assurance, and general contracting. BEC leverages the industry’s innovative technologies to prepare our deliverables and enable architects, regulators and contractors to design and construct with accuracy.

Leadership
John Bobrek, P.E., President
Bobrek Engineering & Construction is operated and managed by John Bobrek, P.E. Mr. Bobrek also fulfills the role of Principal Project Manager. Mr. Bobrek has experience in the Construction Industry since 1997 and the Civil Engineering Industry since 2006. He has been a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) since 2012 and is an Owner's Project Manager (OPM), certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Inspector General. Having previously worked for larger civil engineering companies prior to starting BEC, his engineering services and construction management experience includes both public and private clients. As a professional civil engineer, Mr. Bobrek has worked on projects such as infrastructure rehabilitation, MBTA terminal modernization, MBTA parking garage reconstruction, managing MassDOTs entire system of landfills and a $20M water treatment facility rehabilitation and expansion.
